Clipboard

The Clipboard enables you to copy items from other areas of Pyramid and paste them into a Tabulation. You can also use it to copy the contents of one or more cells (optionally, including formatting) and paste this into the same Tabulate sheet or into another sheet.

You can control the use of the Clipboard (green box) using the Clipboard area of the Tabulate ribbon(red box):

Clipboard Options

The options are as follows:

• Paste: Clicking this displays a drop-down menu (see below)
• Cut: Cuts the selected cells onto the Clipboard and removes them from the Sheet.
• Copy: Copies the selected cells onto the Clipboard but keeps them on the Sheet.
• Format Painter: Use Format Painter to quickly apply the same formatting, such as color, font style and size, or border style, to multiple pieces of text or graphics. With format painter, you can copy all the formatting from one object and apply it to another one.

The Paste drop-down menu appears as follows:

The Paste options are as follows:

	Pastes all cell contents from the Clipboard.
	Pastes Formulas without formatting or comments.
	Pastes Formula results, without formatting or comments.
	Pastes only the formatting from the copied cells.
	Pastes values and formatting from the copied cells.
	Pastes the Formula and formatting from the copied cells.
